WEB DYNPRO ABAP INTRODUCTION TO ADVANCED TECHNIQUES
Everything you ever wanted to know about Web Dynpro ABAP but were afraid to ask. In this all day workshop we will start with the assumption that you know relatively nothing about Web Dynpro ABAP, but work up throughout the day to some rather advanced topics.
This hands-on session explains in depth the Web Dynpro programming model and how to develop Web Dynpro applications within the ABAP workbench. Hands-on exercises starting from simple "Hello World" examples up to UI element binding, controller programming and navigation between different views, will give you firsthand experience with this exciting ABAP objects-based UI technology.
Once everyone has the basics down we will also explore the Floor Plan Manager. The Floorplan Manager based on Web Dynpro ABAP is the SAP Business Suite UI framework for easy, efficient and highly-configurable application development and adaptation. Customers are able to easily adapt delivered UIs to their specific needs, modification-free by simple UI configuration.
We will then end the workshop day with a chance to try creating Web Dynpro ABAP applications that use push updates to the frontend, the resizable side panel and a FlashIsland.
Facilitated by: Thomas Jung - SAP Technology Solution Management Intelligence Platform & NetWeaver - Market Development & Enablement, SAP Labs, LLC. (USA)
